Interested working in the hotel industry?
Guestjoy is looking for a Front End Developer to help improve guest experience for hotels globally.
What do we do?
We have fun by creating solutions that significantly improve hotel guest experiences. We engage with friendly guest communication even before they arrive. On one hand, we help guests specify their personalised needs and requirements and talk directly to hotel staff from the comfort of their home. On the other hand, we help hotels tailor the best possible services and personalised stay for their guests. And we gather unobtrusive feedback that benefits both the guests and hotels via automated review integration with our official partner TripAdvisor. All this culminates in a unified digital journey, enjoyed by travellers and hoteliers in more than 8 different countries.
Who are we looking for?
We look for a top-notch front-end developer. HTML, CSS, JS is your mother tongue.
What do we offer?
You can expect interesting technical challenges. Our platform is built on Node.js, runs in Docker containers on Amazon EC2, load balancer, MongoDB, SES and other goodies. You’ll be working with the latest technologies and with solid argumentation, you can bring in your own favourites. None of this legacy crap! Our service has been used by more than 500000 guests. Although our customers are mainly in Europe, guests can use our service globally. You don’t have to spew out mediocre project based code to customers who come and go. We design stuff for ourselves and our clients until we feel good about the result. Our current UI is has been built on BlazeJS. Your task will be to select a new and better framework and implement it.
We are located in central Tallinn in a penthouse office (surrounded by apple trees) with many of dining options nearby. Our work environment is very flexible and you will hear no bullshit from anybody. Things are told like they are.
